Goals to optimize cell-free protein synthesis through simplification of reaction setup and stabilize cell-free extract through addition of various stabilizing agents, in order to further democratize the platform. Lead for the research team, with responsibility in short and long term planning, experimental design, and creating our team’s vision.Skills include carrying out growth and preparation of extract, DNA preparation, performing high-throughout cell-free reactions, and quantification of results using a plate reader.
