I was an Insurance Agent at American Income Life. This was my first taste of being an Independent Contractor (aka Semi-Self Employed). I was and continue to be excited about the world of insurance. I would like to educate, prepare, and protect as many people and their families as I can in my lifetime and beyond. As an Agent with American Income, I saw the importance of people's needs, and because this is my passion I want to help everybody. While, this is a great company, it was not the fit for me. I need more weapons in my arsenal to educate, prepare, and protect my clients.

While at Macy's I was Group Sales Manager (GSM), which is better known as a Department Manager. I was originally brought in to manage two departments (housewares and luggage), however within my first 60 days I was responsible for 4 additional departments. If nothing else while here, I definitely learned how to think on my feet (major decisions). I was also responsible for the interviewing and hiring of new candidates.

During my time time at Greater Atlantic Bank, I was an active member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to my basic job functions of assisting clients with their financial needs, I orchestrated a relationship with a local Montgomery high school. My goal in this relationship was to educate young people about about the importance of a financial awareness. Financial Awareness is to include credit management, investments, insurance, etc.
