My deepest and most imminent belief is education. Education is found in every aspect of life, both personal and professional. My education began as a competitive dancer, which afforded me compelling and once in a lifetime opportunities like training at both the National and Royal Winnipeg Ballet Schools of Canada. Having dance as my passion pushed me to be better in many ways and granted me my acceptance into Broadway Dance Center’s International Student Visa Program in New York City. For 3 years as part of this program I trained vigorously in various genres and volunteered my time to support causes such as ‘Fight for a Cure’ and ‘Dance for Haiti’ all while taking in the culture and diversity of living in the city.My next calling happened to be the business behind the dance industry, which took me to business school at Mount Royal University. This is where I found my passion for marketing through the building blocks of Bissett School of Business.I was able to integrate dance back into my life through the art of teaching, which I have continued to pursue for the past 10 years. I am now confident in my ability to meet and exceed expectations, adapt to a fast paced environment, and put effective feedback into action and am excited to contribute my knowledge and skills while continuing to develop my personal and corporate abilities. Education and diverse life experience have given me the confidence to enter the world prepared to take on any challenge.
