I am a passionate learner and research professional who continuously seeks to absorb new ideas, information, and modalities. I love projects that enable me to help a client flesh out a historical or imagined world as well as those focused on improving processes and programs.I started competitive public speaking in 4-H as a child, participated in academic debate in both high school and college, was selected as a TEDxEmory student speaker finalist, and have long enjoyed packaging critical knowledge in engaging storytelling as a trained historian, exemplified by my master’s thesis presentation earning the Dean’s Award for the Humanities Division at UC Santa Cruz. Furthermore, I completed an Inclusive Teaching workshop as a graduate student because I deeply value making learning accessible and exciting for everyone.Working freelance in the publishing industry, I conduct research for historically-based and politically-informed literary and non-fiction book projects.
