Throughout my life there have been people that influenced me to continue my education, supported me emotionally during the challenging parts of my life and, taught me how to give back to my community. These experiences helped shape my decision to earn a bachelors degree and then to pursue a master of public administration degree in nonprofit management and leadership. I left the manufacturing industry to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector.I spent 10 years managing social service programs for community development organizations, guiding families to the path of homeownership, helping families proactively prevent foreclosure and negotiated residential leases. I initially didn’t see the dots connecting but I have always had a passion for the real estate industry.I also picked up other skills that I have found useful personally and professionally. I apprenticed with a love coach managing her Facebook group and realized how fun and exciting technology, content creation and, digital marketing really was. I witnessed first hand that entrepreneurship wasn’t as sexy as everyone made it out to be also. Since that apprenticeship in 2012, I’ve managed Wordpress, Drupal and Wix websites, created and curated social media content, and became skilled at making graphics for art programs, health fitness professionals, community development organizations and real estate professionals for 7+ years.I love that I am adaptable, enjoy the challenge of learning something new and, getting to know and understand people and what their needs are and, how I can be a resource to them.
