I lead marketing and communications efforts that keep our congregation's members and friends involved and in-the-know about their faith and local communities.

In my role at Upward, I consistently rethink how we can bring cross-channel digital marketing strategies to our clients across B2B, healthcare and higher education industries. I ideate and execute both national and international campaigns on channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Display Network + PPC. This cross-channel focus allows me to bring principles of UX, performance analytics and conversion rate optimization to the agency's deliverables.

Leading Mindstream's social media team allowed me to integrate the agency's unique Customer Experience specialties with the latest approaches to branded success on social. We brought social media strategies to the table with our proprietary Storylining offering that incorporated social listening, consumer research, social advertising, community management and organic tactics with broader content strategies.

As part of Geben Communication's first social media team, I had the opportunity to ideate and execute social strategies for a Fortune 500 company alongside local startup and nonprofit efforts.

I started with LaunchSquad as a summer PR intern in the San Francisco headquarters, gaining hands-on experience while working closely with startup and tech companies like Cleverbug, Joyent, Topsy and more. I translated this experience into a virtual internship carried out through my senior year at Ohio University. As of July 2014, I joined the LaunchSquad NYC office as an account associate.My experience has centered on the industries of tech, e-commerce, iOS applications, cloud computing, cloud storage, big data and intelligent retail. My wide range of responsibilities have included competitive research, media research and relations, social media monitoring, client communication and content marketing.

I have been a dedicated, dues-paying member of Scripps PRSSA since September 2010. After getting involved within the Chapter, I was elected VP of Member Relations as a sophomore and served a term an a half in this position. I furthered my relationship with Central Ohio PRSA and PRSSA National, and was elected Chapter President in March 2013. I have been involved with the Scripps Innovation Challenge, the Beyond the Basics Regional Conference, and have attended several PRSSA National events.As Chapter President, I introduced Ohio University's first PR Career Week, an event that garnered PRSSA National attention and bolstered the mission of Scripps PRSSA.

As a member of the Student Alumni Board, I work to build and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between current students and Ohio University alumni. I dedicate time to the Membership Committee to help recruit and retain the best possible students for this organization.

After getting involved with VOICE, a platform in the 2013 Ohio University Student Senate elections, I was invited to serve as Director of PR for the organization. In this position I oversee media relations, social media and coordinate outsourced PR tasks with student-run firm Ohio University ImPRessions.

Digiration, a digital/tech startup, has recently launched its new social media app: Suvi. As a Strategic Communications Assistant, I am working to spread word about this new app by building and working with an Ambassador Program as well as social media. I am currently running the Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts for Suvi App. I welcome new Ambassadors to the brand, and serve as their point of contact as they help us build the Suvi community. I also conducted phone and email pitches as I worked to launch the Suvi Student Digital Trainee Program.

As the College of Business (CoB) Student Communications Assistant, I work under the CoB Director of External Relations to improve the reach and quality of the CoB brand. This position allows me to exercise my talents for both business and strategic communication. Projects thus far have included writing pieces for the CoB newsletter and designing informative brochures for different schools within the college.

As an Account Executive for the GoBus account, I lead a team of ImPRessions associates on our mission to assess and build the reputation of this local business within the Athens area. Working closely with the client, the GoBus team strategizes ways to augment communication between the client and community. Major projects have included building a PR plan, launching a Safe Travel campaign for the holiday season, and conducting a student survey.

ImPRessions is a nationally affiliated, fully student-run firm at Ohio University. Over my first two years with this organization, I worked as an Account Associate with the nonprofit organization Up 'til Dawn, as well as Ohio University Performing Arts Series. I was awarded the "Rising Star" award as a freshman from my Account Executives.

During this international experience, I worked with several colleagues on a broad array of projects. Placing myself in an unfamiliar and demanding international PR position was a very challenging experience, and allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. The long-term projects that I completed throughout this internship included creating a competitive social media analysis, building a social media plan that was then adopted by the client, and organizing media clippings to build monthly Market Intelligence reports.

I began working with The Post during the fall of 2011, when I wrote my weekly column titled "Take it Personally." I was later asked to join the paper as PR Chief. My responsibilities in this position include evaluating reader interests, and relating this back to our business objectives. I also have the opportunity to create and direct all PR operations and promotions.

The Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society is a national organization that recognizes first year college students that have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher. When I was elected to the executive board as PR Co-chair, I implemented many new public relations incentives. I began and maintained a Member of the Month program, as well as wrote and edited the monthly newsletter. I also collaborated with fellow executive board members to help them plan and promote their various events. While doing so, I also took part in many of the community-wide service initiatives. The Ohio University chapter was awarded the national "Maintaining the Flame" award during my time on the executive board.

INC (Internships, News and Commentary) is a weekly online newsletter that covers journalism industry news. I began working with INC as a weekly reporter. During this time I published 20 stories, four of which were cover stories. I was later promoted to PR Chief.

As an intern with ACCS, I was given professional responsibilities. I published two Letter-to-the-Editors for the agency director at two local papers, and also wrote and edited the monthly agency newsletter using Constant Contact. I also attended community outreach events, and helped to plan and organize the annual Santa Tree charity for local youth.
