With over three years of work experience in public health, social media management, and government accountability, I am a Public Health Service Member at AmeriCorps and a Master of Public Health candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My core competencies include community engagement, research and analysis, marketing communications, and presentations. My mission is to improve the health and well-being of diverse populations through evidence-based interventions, education, and advocacy. I am excited to join a team that shares my vision and values, and that can benefit from my diverse perspectives and experiences.As a Public Health Service Member at AmeriCorps, I serve as a Public Health Worker at the North Central District Health Department, part-time, and partner with various programs to serve a four county area. I develop social media content for the HANDS program, represent the Health Department at community events, and support the Harm Reduction and W.I.C. programs. I leverage my skills in attention to detail and marketing communications to deliver high-quality and impactful services to the community. Previously, I was a Graduate Analyst Intern at the US Government Accountability Office, where I assisted with research and analysis on contracting and national security acquisitions, and conducted interviews with external agencies. I also have experience as a Social Media Manager at The Paleo Mom, where I fostered an engaged online community for the creator of the Autoimmune Protocol.
