Nicole currently works at the World Economic Forum, the world's leading organization dedicated to shaping global, regional and industry agendas through Public-Private Cooperation. She leads the Forum's Business Partners in the Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure Sectors as well as the Chemical and Advanced Materials Industries to engage them across the Forum’s work throughout the year and at the Annual Meeting in Davos.Nicole is an engineer, entrepreneur, and a self-taught artist. She is passionate about sustainable development, environmental justice and social equity. At the Forum she works closely with C-suite to drive impact, business and industry transformation through foresight, innovation and multi stakeholder cooperation. Nicole is also the co-founder and co-owner of East Landing Development LLC, a women-owned real estate investment and development firm based in the Hamptons, NY and has worked for over a decade solving challenges in the built environment. Her experience as an engineer and project manager while at Arup spanned numerous award-winning projects both regionally and globally. Her expertise ranges from mechanical engineering of low carbon buildings, program management for government agencies and global financial institutions and establishment of commercial venture partnerships with startups through to public offering. Select significant projects include 461 Dean St in Brooklyn NY, the tallest modular building in the world, $1B+ MTA modernization program, and the development of a scalable machine learning model and digital application for the Natural Resources Defense Council’s sustainability strategy for their real estate portfolio.Nicole obtained her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State. She also holds a Masters Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investing from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
