Castle Rock SurgiCenter is a multispecialty outpatient surgical center located in Castle Rock, Colorado, where there is a wide variety of surgical procedures performed. With our professional and caring doctors, nurses, and staff, we make sure you are taken care of and that your stay with us is as comfortable as possible.

Surgery Center of Colorado is a surgical team comprised of Registered Nurses, Anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Surgical Technicians that are dedicated to care throughout surgery. The focus is on providing patients with constant care and attention as they guide them through the surgical experience.

Sky Ridge Nurse Interns engage in a variety of activities including:• Greeting patients and families from all over Colorado and beyond• Staffing our Information Desk and Surgical Waiting Room• Adding support and comfort on our patient floors and in our Emergency Department• Assisting with various projects including special events• Visiting patients and escorting visitors throughout Sky RidgeOur Nurse Interns typically contribute at least four hours once a week. Our Volunteer Services Department takes great care to match a Nurse Intern’s interests and skills to a specific Sky Ridge Medical Center assignment. Our core areas are at the PACU and the Surgical Waiting Room. In addition, we place Nurse Interns in the Emergency Department, patient recovery floors, Surgical Services, and several non-clinical departments offering administrative support.

• Working at Chili’s as a server and have worked up to bartending, training (including regional), administration, and bringing Chili’s up to CTS (certified training status).• Achieved highest rating in customer service regularly since being hired.

• Provide physical and occupational therapy• Assist with medication administration• Maintain HIPPA regulated medical recordings and communications• Provide a level of assistance and customized care so the client can excel

• Worked as a receptionist in charge of scheduling appointments in the clinic.• In charge of prescription refills & requests and referrals to specialists.• Handled HIPAA regulations for new patients and maintenance medical records.• Assisted during outpatient medical procedures.• Administered shots of various kinds (allergy, flu, vitamin, etc…).
