The Opportunity-Easterseals is a non-profit organization specializing in enhancing the lives of adults with disabilities and their families. We provide vocational development and extended employment for the developmental, cognitive, emotional, and physically disabled. Three important components of this our mission include:1. Employment opportunities through competitive placement programs, as well as traditional employment in the workshop.2. Work adjustment training in vocational skills, work behaviors and attitudes.3. Counseling and guidance for individuals in preparation for gainful employment in the community.The Opportunity Center-Easterseals serves 6 counties and partners with federal, state, and local companies throughout Northeast Alabama, taking on disabilities together!
