I am a self-motivated hard working graduate of the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program at Sacred Heart University. Traveling and serving others has always been a passion of mine, and I have been lucky enough to make my dream a reality. On mission trips to Guatemala and Haiti I was able to immerse myself into the culture and work one on one with the members of the community. While abroad I was able to demonstrate my skills that have helped me as an Occupational Therapist. These skills include leadership, teaching, and intercultural communication Within my short time abroad I helped with fine motor skills such as holding a pen and writing, I worked with various stroke patients, and I was able to implement various modifications to help the individuals be more independent. Having the opportunity to participate in such an incredible experience has just further ignited my passion and has me excited for my future in serving others and being a practicing Occupational Therapist.
