As of 2014 Westinghouse builds and operates approximately one-half of the world's operating nuclear plants.• Performed technical reviews of procurement activities and nonconforming conditions to ensure sufficient support and documentation was evidenced to support business decisions• Developed user-friendly Quality Review Checklists to ensure procedural compliance, quality, and safety• Developed coding process for trending nonconformances and inspection• Selected to work on a five-person cross-functional team in charge of delivering site specific training to ensure new procedural and regulatory requirements were met for the successful construction of first two nuclear reactors to be built in the last 30 years in the US

GAI was contracted by AP1000 reactor design owner Westinghouse to perform design work in support of civil and structural engineering. I joined GAI's Engineering Division to gain experience and exposure to new energy technology, design, and construction. • Developed a Nuclear Design Change Proposal tool to monitor performance for client Westinghouse• Reviewed structural design drawings certified for construction for the AP1000 Auxiliary Building to ensure accuracy• Performed a meteorological assessment for a wind turbine project proposal to determine feasibility
