Assisted the senior copywriter in creating copy for 72 hour special e-mails, announcements, and advertorials. Some clients include Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, Harrison Hot Springs, and Gideon Putnam.Worked alongside other interns to produce a mock 2013 holiday campaign for Buca di Beppo. The copywriting intern was responsible for creating copy for direct mail advertisements, radio spots, expandable online banner, and online video. Research, creative thinking, communication, and writing skills were all used to complete these tasks.

Under the direction of the public relations director, the intern was responsible for researching information for clients, creating press releases, and pitching them to newspapers. Created a press release that was successfully picked up by ten newspapers. Assisted in the marketing and social audits of client’s competitors. Conducted research on industry trends. Researched and reviewed potential new clients. Created and pitched a press release to multiple news outlets.
