After nearly a decade of volunteering both on-site and off-site to collaboratively mobilize hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding, I gladly serve with the Board of Governance. In addition to my roles on the Finance and Fundraising Committees, I work with on-site Directors and other members of the Board to implement effective Knowledge Management, Change Management, Communication and Staff Health practices, as well as to provide staff coaching in project planning and execution. I count it one of my greatest privileges to serve those with disabilities in rural Mexico through the excellent work of Eternal Anchor.

I stepped into this role to design, projectize and initiate a community-centric, annual fund development strategy to be built on by a local successor. We saw significant increases in donor numbers and in giving (an 86% increase in one campaign) - and the successful handoff is underway.

I lived on-site in rural Mexico while working with the Executive Director and Executive Team to support the implementation of a major structural change to the organization, as well as a new CRM and financial system, while working to expand the local and global funding base.

World Relief's Post-Release Services provide those just released from ICE's Northwest Detention Center with the necessary logistics planning, transportation, emergency overnight lodging and other essentials to take the next step on their immigration journey. I trained, managed and served with dozens of post-release and hosting volunteers, assisting hundreds of individuals from dozens of countries.

This was COVID season, and I am very proud of the creative response of our Executive team during this challenge. Healthy, legal gatherings meant transitioning from two large weekly services in one location to five smaller weekly services in four locations, including the introduction of Livestream - as well as dozens of regular online and in-person micro-gatherings in order to continue to provide spiritual and community care for hundreds of people. We achieved healthy staff and volunteer team dynamics even as we completely restructured our budget and organization. Such an honor to serve this team.

During these years, I designed opportunities, trainings and systems to move people into tangible spaces of community and of service, resulting in hundreds of people practicing community in small groups, thousands of hours of volunteer service locally and globally, and dozens of volunteer leaders trained and supported to implement their own innovations.
