About Nicole Park

Experienced higher education professional with a focus on Career Advising in the Law, Government, and Public Policy sectors.My background as a lawyer and a law school career advisor gives me unique insight into the landscape of legal education and employment. I serve on the Law School Admission Council's inaugural 12-member Prelaw Advisory Council with peers from around the country, and I regularly engage with law school admissions representatives and legal employers. I am deeply committed to diversifying the legal profession and increasing the transparency of the law school admissions process.In addition to pre-law advising, I work closely with students and alumni pursuing careers in local, state and federal government and public policy work of all kinds. I am well-versed in the federal hiring process, and I was in the first cohort of Federal Advisor Certificate recipients in Summer 2023. Sometimes I even draw on my own long-ago experience interning for both the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Defense!Particular areas of professional interest for me are providing support to LGBTQ+ students, First Gen students, students with disabilities, and DACA and undocumented students. I welcome collaboration with others who have similar interests.
