Member of the small projects team for BBC Radio and Music Interactive. Responsible for the development of enhancements and prototypes for the high traffic BBC Radio suite of websites. Also responsible for undertaking technical front end code reviews of externally developed applications for acceptance and compliance with BBC Standards & Guidelines.

Responsible for the concept creation and development of all interface design / UX development for MyFolia.com - a tracking and organisational community for gardeners. Site was built with the Ruby on Rails (RoR) framework and utilises javascript libraries, Ajax for complex interactions, Google Maps / Charts and Flickr API integration.Developed Facebook Connect and oAuth Twitter integration and a separate HTML5 Mobile Web App.

Contracted to work as a front end developer on the new Orange Homepage (beta, to be launched incrementally over May / June 2011). Implemented HTML5, CSS3 and web fonts to deliver a future proofed homepage. Advised on accessibility standards and best practice front end guidelines. Implemented performant CSS and Javascript (jQuery) to ensure minimal load times on this extremely high traffic site.

Member of the Lloyds TSB project team at LBi. Implemented structured HTML, CSS and OO JS to deliver new front end deliverables for the Lloyds TSB Money Manager Application, a complex graph-heavy application for personal banking data. Utilised performant CSS and Javascript techniques to ensure performant loading of data.

Led the UI development and architecture of the new basket and checkout process - involved with initial IA and UX design through to creation of UI architecture. Introduced coding standards to the front end development team and used optimisation techniques such as sprites and js /css compression to improve the load times for high trafficked pages.

Lead UI developer for the mallowstreet.com project - a social network for the pension industry. Responsible for all interface development, UX and IA strategy.

Worked as a front end developer on the ASOS redesign project. Responsible for the creation of new front end development coding standards, accessibility guidelines and the re-skinning of all front facing pages to a new design as provided by creative.

Produced standards compliant HTML and CSS for the Wasabi.com redesign project.

Contracted to develop the DHLitNow site to enable online international parcel delivery and UK parcel delivery services for non DHL account holders.

Responsible for full design, architecture and development of an e-commerce application for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. Implemented a structured approach to the development of the interface level, to maximise the amount of reusable components (user controls and custom controls) and to speed development time.Also worked as interface developer on the Fairfax Casual Advertiser system.
