As Director of Programs, I oversee three of the Urban Ministry's flagship programs: -Believe In Success: the area's only 13 week, trauma-informed workforce development program for survivors of intimate partner violence.-Renewal House: a domestic violence shelter that provides holistic, trauma-informed, healing-centered support for survivors of all genders, LGBTQ identified survivors, and bilingual (Spanish/English ) advocacy.-Roxbury Youth Program: An after school program that provides near-peer mentoring and academic support for students from the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics & Science. Additionally, we train youth to be historically informed, culturally relevant tour guides in the historic John Eliot Square, where they, "Learn History.
