As a TA I gave tutorials to small groups of students and mark assignments. The material is Critical Thinking (Philosophy). I was excited about teaching this material, as I believe it to be, well, critical for informing citizens. We need to know how to evaluate claims and arguments in many aspects of our lives, from engaging with well-meaning family, pervasive media, or political platforms. I consider my position to be facilitating the development of life skills--including my own, of course!
