The Australian Institute of Company Directors is the largest representative organisation for Directors in Australia. With 38,000 members, the AICD provides professional recognition, support, leadership regarding governance matters, networking opportunities and education to its members. A senior leader managing a large portfolio with a focus on retention and increasing member engagement. Actively involved in creating marketing and communication campaigns to increase meaningful interactions with members. I represent the organisation at a number of networking events and provide governance and support on a variety of corporate subjects. Responsible for the on-boarding of new members and supporting members throughout their director journey.

Responsible for the leadership, management and delivery of quality events across the Health, Not-for-Profit, SME, Asian Business sectors including sector based programs from Emerging Directors to Chairman. Coupled with a full segmented events calendar I was responsible for liaising with senior directors and executives through the engagement of key note speakers and defining target markets to build appropriate business-to-business partnerships. Also involved in developing online, print and media communications to build AICD’s profile.

Responsible for pertaining member relationships and engagement to drive member acquisition and retention. Actively involved in marketing and communication campaigns to grow individual membership numbers and increase member participation. After an interstate relocation, this role provided the opportunity to look after a larger metropolitan membership base.

Responsible for major event management, growing the events & sponsorship portfolio. Securing lucrative sponsors and identifying targeted corporate partnerships to identify brand alignment. I developed strong community partnerships with key influential government organisations, including local council and industry bodies to leverage public relations. Additionally was also responsible for retaining and pertaining members for the whole Gold Coast region.

The Toyota Miles Motor Group is the largest Toyota dealer in New Zealand with 6 dealerships nationally. This role was responsible for the management of all internal and public events across all 6 dealerships and customer relations quality assurance activities to ensure customer satisfaction and repeatability of business. Assisted in the management of events program and provided support for customer support, also integral in website management, marketing an promotional activities.

Ronald McDonald House South Island is an independent not-for-profit charity organisation providing support to families of young children currently in hospital care within the Christchurch region.This role was responsible for the revitalisation and growth of fundraising activities and event management. I contributed to the concepts and delivery of fundraising events and was integral to the involvement in the management of corporate partnerships. I was also responsible for the facilitation and administration of major gifts, bequests and trusts.
