Created and differentiated daily lesson plans for students according to TEKS and Leader in Me curriculum. Trained in a variety of virtual platforms (i.e. Google Classroom, and Seesaw) in order to effectively teach in a hybrid model.  Built a collaborative and friendly classroom environment by incorporating the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. Developed daily differentiated guided reading instruction using Units of Study, Fountas and Pinnell, and Words Their Way. Used formal and informal assessments like district CBAs, Unit Assessments, and monthly iSip scores to guide my instruction to fill in achievement gaps for each student. Coached 3rd and 4th Grade Ready Writing for the LWISD UIL competition. Mentored 2 new MCLA teachers, by meeting with them every month and providing both professional and emotional support.
