Hello-I am Nicole, the Quintessential OT and consultant! Occupational therapy is a unique profession focused on improving one’s occupations (everyday meaningful and purposeful activities-think everything from brushing your teeth to driving a car to work) through the use of occupations within the therapy sessions, which means our brand of therapy is FUN, and focuses on building skills or adapting the situation to make you successful. Now that I am out of the clinic, my occupational therapy lens guides how I deliver consulting, professional development, coaching, and program development. As a renowned educator with vast experience in educational systems (all levels, including higher ed), health care systems, and non-profits, I’m known for my “contagious passion” and ability to empower clients to achieve their goals. My expertise in conflict resolution practices adds an unrivaled dynamic to collaborative problem solving to enhance the interface between consumers and systems. Problem solving is what OTs do, and I seek out the challenges others avoid. As a visionary thinker, I enjoy challenges within opportunities for strong collaboration within change advocacy. I seek to make a change for the lives of children and their families through the power of education and allied health services. I love what I do and strive to learn something every day to make sure I am not only utilizing best practices, but adding to the evidence to create best practices. Why am I "Quintessential"? I bring passion, knowledge, experience, creativity, and collaborative momentum to take health care and educational programs to the next level.
