Nicole is chief operations officer in-charge of Donor Services, Core Community Programs (Economic Opportunity, Health Equity, Arts & Culture, Community Placemaking, and Green-spaces) Finance, and special initiatives including New Economy Initiative (NEI), Michigan Justice Fund (MJF), PEDALS, and the Detroit Regional Workforce Partnership. Her appointment as President and CEO of CFSEM begins in January 2025. Previously, Nicole was the Group Executive (chief economic and workforce development officer) for Detroit at Work and Economic Development. Reporting to Mayor Mike Duggan and a 30+ member public board of directors, Nicole was accountable for a $100MM+ budget supported by public, philanthropic, and employer investments. She was the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) portfolio executive for a $100MM Detroit Adult Scholarship Program, Industrial Site Readiness/Blight Remediation, and Small Business strategy.
