CurrentContextual Inquiry/Ethnographic Research – I have been responsible for contacting, scheduling, and performing in-person interviews of research scientists and physicians. I have created materials for, and participated in, the analysis of the data through affinity diagramming sessions, during which we train the client team on the techniques. We have also used our results in visioning sessions for new products. Market Research – Working directly with the client, I have programmed surveys on customer/author behaviors and perceptions, and compiled and analyzed the resulting data in a final report. I have also contacted, scheduled, and performed phone interviews with research scientists and physicians on multiple projects, and produced summarized notes and analysis. I have also produced multiple competitive and landscape analysis reports, shaping data from multiple sources into an understandable analysis deliverable for the client.Workflow Analysis – I have written multiple user guides for new content management systems. Assisting a senior consultant, I elicited requirements, searched for and compiled background documentation from multiple sources, and analyzed and transformed workflow documentation into the table of contents for the user manual. Then I prepared user-friendly topics while working with a system under development, and collaborated with the editorial and technical project teams to test and refine the documentation, later used in training sessions and production.
