• Served as a Lead Business Analyst for mid-large sized global law firm and corporate legal clients to assess workflows and provide process improvement recommendations for enterprise-wide systems like document management systems, enterprise search, experience management systems and other integrated legal technologies. • Facilitated requirements gathering by extensively researching the Massachusetts criminal justice system by observing court proceedings, speaking with attorneys, judges, and social workers about the type of tool that could help their practices run more efficiently. • Developed a website application to help the access to justice problem in Massachusetts by compiling a master list of criminal justice resources to educate lawyers on the best resources for their clients.• Coded a website application that housed a master list of criminal justice resources.• Drafted a Memorandum of Understanding to delegate app maintenance responsibilities to the Massachusetts Public Defenders and the Tubman Project. • Presented final product at the American Bar Association Annual Meeting in August 2019.

• Conducted legal research consisting of employment law and civil litigation inquiries. • Advised Managing Partner on a variety of legal issues including whether a claim or case should go forward. • Drafted various court memoranda including demand letters, Motions for Leave to Amend, Opposition Motions for Trustee Process, and Complaints.• Assisted in discovery and on-going investigations.• Analyzed employment contracts to determine whether certain clauses and provisions were present.

• Oversaw and managed multiple Journal of High Technology Notes for publication. • Managed staff members during the cite checking process to ensure that citations were correct and conformed to the Bluebook standard.

• Certified Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 student attorney.• Successfully prepared and argued bail arguments, objections to bail revocation, motions to dismiss in open court.• Researched and drafted many motions to dismiss and suppress which included claims of assault, larceny over $250, and more.• Handled multiple cases at any one time.• Worked alongside Staff Attorneys and advised them on case law when needed. • Met with clients to gather more information about on-going cases.

• Assisted General Counsel and Staff Attorney’s in all aspect of employment law consultations by researching federal and state laws and analyzing and applying those laws to specific inquiries which included compensation for travel time and overtime.• Co-wrote the quarterly FAQ based on the new Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime regulations.• Researched and prepared a presentation on the FLSA overtime regulations to be presented at conferences nationally. • Prepared for and attended national CAPLAW conference in Florida.
