I am a storyworld building, transmedia nerd passionate about re-inventing entertainment and creating cross-platform experiences. Currently, I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Hidden Bands. An Augmented Reality geo-caching game for discovering new, unreleased music. Over the past decade I have worked with many start-up tech companies and Fortune 500 tech brands at One Net as the co-owner and Creative Director. We use creative and visual expression to tell product stories across platforms from dynamic websites to video and more. We grow with our companies and develop real partnerships. Every year at least a handful of companies we work for raise big rounds or get acquired by the best. We have worked with big brands like: Google, Lenovo, Applovin, Uber, Xbox, Steel Series and more.I also have been Producing and Directing films my entire life. I especially love films that cross into hybrid genres while focusing my work on creating impact for global audiences. My most recent cross-platform project, “Amplify Her”, was created with 30 women working in collaboration together. It includes a feature documentary film, graphic novel, animated series, behind the scenes web series and exclusive event series that has reached over a hundred markets and featured almost one hundred women in music at events around the world. I also did a Tedx talk about my life-changing experience working on this film. The process reminded me of just how important women amplifying women is in this world at this time. I have also had the privilege of working with some of Canada’s top documentarians such as Velcrow Ripper and Nettie Wild on their digital companion pieces. I got my start in 2008 by acting as a one person production crew: filming, producing, editing and writing war / revolution documentaries and shorts around the world from Thailand's deep southern war, to the first climate change rally in in the Middle East.Focused on film, gender and human experience design I also give the occasional talk. Some of my favorite talks were part of: TedX, UX Week in San Francisco, Emerald City Comicon, Spark Animation Festival, various "Women in Film" Panels, and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
