Video Producer
CurrentI am the lead video producer for Forbes live events. This includes in-person summits and conferences, and virtual webinars and social media streams. I work closely with the social, sales, events, and programming teams to ensure conception from pre through post-production, and delivery of a multitude of short and long-form videos. I work with editors and designers to create videos both for the event itself, and for clients who sponsored or partnered with Forbes. I’m always present during production whether overseeing a team of cam-ops during events, or assisting TDs in recording virtually.Responsibilities:* Work closely with the Senior Branded Producer to prioritize filming & edits for all live events* Update & maintain calendars, grids and other production department documents* Pull and track media assets* Hiring of contracted vendors (freelance camera-operators, audio engineers, producers, editors, and directors) across the US and abroad* Communicate with various departments to ensure content is utilized across all platforms, including the Forbes website and social media* Collaborate closely with account managers and clients to help facilitate the creation of video content* Direct and capture video in-person and remotely* Quality check all video prior to sending to clients* Input metadata for videos in content management system* Upload and prepare videos in Forbes MAM/DAM* Work closely with editorial team to ensure successful video publishing for articles* Repackage event footage for social* Edit video projects, including footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx,* Archive and manage project media, including organizing raw footage, assets, final deliverables
