From a young age, I have been deeply fascinated by the natural world, which inspired my pursuit of a career in horticulture. I completed a degree in horticulture at Nottingham Trent University, where I developed a keen interest in plant propagation, plant science, and green space management. In 2023, I had the privilege of gaining valuable experience during a placement with English Heritage at Brodsworth Hall and Gardens, further fuelling my passion for estate management and plant production. I currently work as a General Horticultural Assistant at Osberton Nurseries, a family-run business specialising in growing rhododendrons, azaleas, and camellias for over 20 years. There, I’ve been learning extensively about plant cultivation and find immense satisfaction working outdoors among plants.
