For a year, we worked full-time with diverse digital health companies, laboratories, and medical insurance plan clients to guide strategy, planning, and execution on innovative and interesting projects. I still maintain my consulting business for contract-based opportunities.

As part of a newly formed Evernorth team, I led and executed the go-to-market strategy for introduction of FamilyPath, a new fertility benefit program. Key activities included internal and external market research and evaluation of the competitive landscape to drive product strategy and road mapping; collaborating effectively to align multiple teams within several legacy organizations towards a unified product strategy; and building B2B and B2B2C product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, and marketing strategy across multiple channels.

Our products at Progenity helped women make critical healthcare decisions throughout their lives, with genetic tests in prenatal, pediatric, and oncology care. As a leader of the product marketing team, I provided strategic direction about product development: planning and executing on the launch of new products, sizing up market opportunity and competition, evaluating potential partnerships, and driving commercial strategies that ensure we're meeting the needs of clinicians, patients, and payers. I considered myself the midwife for our products: guiding their development, keeping everyone calm and focused when labor gets hard, intervening when the health of our business is at risk, and celebrating wildly when innovations are born.

Sequenom launched the first non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) for Down syndrome and other chromosome abnormalities, and I was there to bring this powerful new genetic technology into the women's health market. As part of the medical affairs team, I delivered clinical genetics support and education about prenatal genetic testing to healthcare professionals in a 12 state region. I worked collaboratively with the regional sales organization (15 sales reps, 2 regional sales directors) to interface with clients and key opinion leaders in maternal-fetal medicine and genetic counseling. I facilitated over 150 educational programs and roundtable discussions with healthcare providers per year with consistently high ratings. As the acceptance of NIPT grew, so did Sequenom's global footprint. I was involved in this expansion of laboratory services through training and support of partners in Europe and South America.

At DNADirect, I had the privilege of being part of a start-up dedicated to making genetic testing and health information accessible to clinicians, consumers, and payers. As an integral part of the product team, I led content development and strategy efforts for digital healthcare products for women's health, oncology, rare disease, and pharmacogenomics. Our cornerstone product was a genetic testing prior authorization support tool for payers, the guts of which survived multiple acquisitions before integrating into the Lab Management solution at eviCore.
