I obtained a Property and Casualty license to work alongside seasoned Farmer's agents. I acquired knowledge of products and sales strategies to succeed, which propelled me to thrive in a sales environment. Generated insurance quotes to deliver sales and close the sale presentations.

As an Aflac Benefits advisor, I generated sales leads through personal networking, referrals, and cold calls. I also conducted engaging sales presentations and enrollments at worksites and remote environments. I provided excellent customer service and claims support to new and existing policyholders.

Business Development: December 2014 - March 2018. Co-chaired with the president/CEO on the bank's call program. Developed and implemented tactics for the calling program to initiate and obtain banking relationships. Marketing Manager: May 2013 - December 2014 - Executed the annual marketing budget and plan. Developed and executed ad campaigns. Oversaw media relations. Co-chaired the business development team and provided reports that track, measure and analyze performance and reports to the bank’s board of trustees. Facilitated meetings between existing and prospective loan customers with appropriate lending officers. Collaborated with IT and compliance to create, manage and maintain content on the bank’s website.

As a recruiter for Toyota, Chrysler, and GM technicians, I traveled to six states to recruit from high school and post-secondary automotive programs. Because job placement is a requirement for program acceptance, my responsibilities involved placing students in dealerships for their co-ops. My secondary responsibilities included advising and marketing the program.

As the Community Outreach Coordinator, I was responsible for all community/customer service activities related to Home Care and Hospice and the community. I collaborated with referral sources to identify customer service needs and assure referrals. I facilitated educational opportunities for the community. I created and implemented customer service training for staff. I conducted team-building activities with staff and was responsible for advertising, media purchasing, media relations, and staying within the established budget.

I was responsible for developing a marketing campaign in collaboration with an advertising agency that incorporated direct mailing, print materials, electronic media, billboards, and a website. I was also responsible for all community and media relations, developing and implementing ongoing promotional campaigns for sales of products and services, and managing spa internal and external events to generate new clientele and sales of products and services.

As a soldier in training, I exceeded all requirements to graduate from Army Basic Training. I also graduated with honors from Army Advanced Individual Training and received the Drill Sergeant Leadership Award. I received the Physical Fitness Award in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2001. My military occupational service qualified me as a logistics specialist and augmented military police.

Provided assistance to the State Family Program Coordinator in the planning and accomplishing program objectives. Coordinated and facilitated communications to Illinois National Guard Units and assisted with the publicizing of family and quality of life issues. Planned family emphasis programs to help improve the overall Family Readiness Program and coordinated volunteer service programs for the State Family Program. This allowed our department to provide optimal support during deployments.
