Working with 4 other interns, I pioneered an in-class voter registration program, which was later implemented throughout other college campuses. My team and I registered over 5,000 new voters, amassing a personal total exceeding 1,200. I organized meetings with culturally diverse student organizations and organized a step- show event, show casing student dance and song groups, hosted by Will.i.am of the Black-Eyed Peas and Tatiana Ali from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". My team and I set a new record of on-campus voter turnout, producing an increase of 21.7%
