"Nicole talks too much!" That was the common theme on my report cards all throughout school...but I had things to say and that's still true today!As an professional, I’ve embraced that passion for people and socializing. It’s led me on journey of marketing and communications roles that have enabled me to build connections both through brand experience and internal engagement, two distinct yet relatable elements. I’ve had the privilege of working with the Altis.Excel Team for 13+ years. Throughout my time here I’ve overseen the marketing for five brands and six corporate offices. This has included website development, social content, newsletters, webinars, email marketing campaigns and sales initiatives. What inspires me the most about our approach to marketing is the personalization of our content and the experience it generates for both our client and candidate community. Our focus truly is people. My new role within the company - Director, Internal Communications and Engagement Strategist - is highly impactful as it streamlines our communications, transforms our corporate culture (in a remote first environment), develops our internal brand and creates opportunities for social connection within our team. And of course, I don’t do this alone – I have the privilege of partnering with our incredible leadership team. It’s a unique advantage of being in this seat. Communication and engagement are key to creating lasting connections in life. I'm passionate about what I do for a living and grateful each and every opportunity I have had to do it! If I were to give young Nicole advice today, it would be "keep on talking!"
