Guide teachers through NGSS implementation in order to increase student engagement and learning retention. Provide virtual and on-site professional development for teachers, schools, and districts on topics relevant to the NGSS, three dimensional instruction, the 5E model, and using discovery and exploration to improve science pedagogy.

Develop and implement a science curriculum aligned to Pennsylvania State Standards, Common Core State Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards. Implement classroom management strategies focused on relationship-building and positive reinforcement to increase engagement and motivation. Collaborate with Allegheny College's Creek Connections to provide authentic learning experiences, exploring local waterways. Incorporate service learning through PA Sea Grant's Great Lakes Great Stewards program. Utilize data to drive instruction. Incorporate student tracking and goal-setting. Prepare students for state standardized testing.

Collaborate with Allegheny College’s Creek Connections to provide authentic learning experiences. Encourage the development of 21st century and critical thinking skills through the use of technology and critical literacy approaches. Advisor to Ski Club, Spanish Club. Coordinator of the STEM Expo 2015, 2014 Summer Science Days, 2014 OLCS Science Day, and 2013 Summer Writer’s Project.
