I directed weekly online and print operations, oversaw the editorial board and the weekly editorial, and edited all pages to be published each week. I hired, trained and managed a staff of about 100 reporters, editors, photographers and designers. New initiatives under my tenure included a redesign of the layout of the physical paper, a focus on web first content, expansion of enterprise stories, and audio content.

I oversaw all section editors, with a particular focus on the news section. I worked to train and workshop with writers, continued efforts to expand web-first and web-only news, managed long term projects, and edited stories in all sections weekly. I also sat on the editorial board and co-wrote the weekly editorial.
