I am certified as a Scrum Master, currently working on obtaining my Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master certification (DASSM). I am transitioning out of the military in August after having served my ten years, and although I love serving, it no longer aligns with my family’s goals. Right now I am serving as a Traditional Reservist with no TDY's or deployments in the future. I plan to finish out my contract while working a full time job.During my deployment (Apr-Oct 2021), I led a team in Material Control, a position I had never been in before. It was completely disorganized when we arrived. In the months we were there, after finding everyone’s strengths, I led our team from a 74% mission capable rate to a 94%, brought 100% accountability to the inventory and vehicles, which helped make us #1 in the AOR. When I returned, I earned NCO of the Year for 2022 for the 419th Logistics Readiness Squadron.I have loved my career in Vehicle Management, but have always been drawn to the tech industry. Fortunately I have an incredible mentor who has been helpful in teaching me; I am familiar with SaaS, AWS, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Jira, Confluence, and the SDLC. I am knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Scrum, Kanban, Agile, and Choosing Your Own WoW. My passion started when I realized Project Management and Agile fit my personality very well. I’ve been diving into as much education as possible since.Personally and professionally, I am motivated, passionate about people, and am always seeking learning opportunities for lifelong growth. I am very self-competitive, wanting to be better every day. I thrive in highly technical, fast paced environments, and am currently searching for a role as a Scrum Master.After passing my DASSM, I plan to finish my courses on Project Management and tackle my PMP. Future plans include my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Diversity and Inclusion Yellow Belt, and my Professional Agile Leadership certificate. (And SO much more!) It’s my goal to someday become an Enterprise Agile Coach.
