Nicolo Rusconi is a Real Estate and Hospitality entrepreneur with creative endeavors spanning multiple industries. Nicolo, alongside partner Jon Blanchard, has created one of Los Angeles' most impactful lifestyle hospitality development firms in BLVD Hospitality. The firm is behind some of LA's most iconic and most anticipated developments such as the world-renowned Ace Hotel and downtown Los Angeles' Hoxton Hotel, Soho House, and CitizenM. At BLVD, Nicolo oversees daily operations of the company, co-manages the company's investment strategy, and oversees the company's creative endeavors. Nico and Jon most recently purchased the historic Santa Monica hotel, The Georgian, where they intend to restore Ocean Avenue's First Lady to her former glory. Nicolo cofounded LA-based fast casual restaurant chain, Chicas Tacos, and advises on the company's top-line strategy including, but not limited to, investment strategy, roll-out strategy, and brand strategy. He opened RVCC Intersect - Espresso Bar, Barbershop, and Tattoo Studio in downtown Los Angeles' Arts District in 2017 and is a partner in the downtown Los Angeles community event company, LaunchDTLA, alongside partners Justin Weiss, Mitch Carricart, Paul Vizcaino, and Azzi Kashani. He also founded the horticultural desert plant brand, Pax Obscura, in 2020 with partners Sloane Angell and Gary Cheung. Nicolo was awarded Zagat's 30 under 30 award in 2017 for his foresight in hospitality and he currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Conservation Corps where he chairs the Development and Marketing Committee. He also currently sits on the Third St. Promenade Re-envisioning Committee for the City of Santa Monica. In his (limited) free time, Nicolo enjoys exploring California's coastline and America's plethora of National Parks. He is an avid proponent and activist for the continued positive growth of Downtown Los Angeles. His hobbies include hunting, collecting rare + antiquarian literature, collecting rare and obscure desert flora, mountaineering + rock climbing, and backcountry backpacking.
