Other notable aspects of the project:- Assembled and led a team of 35+ employees to complete the project. Set high level goals for team, met or exceeded deadlines, and engendered a spirit of shared leadership.- Met biweekly with government partners to conceptualize and design all aspects of the program.- Led biweekly meetings with 12 partner nonprofits to provide training, get feedback, and review performance metrics. - Working with a team of software engineers, acted as lead Product Manager, designing and building a custom case management software system that allowed community members to easily request rental assistance. - Wrote custom scripts, built dashboards, and designed advanced workbooks in Excel to improve team performance, share information with local government, and meet federal reporting requirements.- Prepared and delivered information to media partners to promote awareness of the program.Managed and oversaw the build and release of three additional custom software solutions for CIC's Bond Compliance, Home Ownership, and Small Business Lending teams. - Set the high-level vision for each project and made decisions on feature sets. - Facilitated weekly meetings and managed our internal team by assigning tasks and tracking outcomes.- Led weekly external meetings with software development teams.- Facilitated and participated in rigorous testing processes in Staging and Production environments.

    I directed an innovative department that was focused on looking beyond stopgap hunger relief strategies and building holistic solutions to hunger, such as those focused on food security, advocacy, and justice. I managed and coached six direct reports overseeing five programs that involved everything from running farmers' markets and farms to culinary training. Notable responsibilities and achievements:- Worked with staff to analyze impact, developing metrics for programming that doesn't fit the traditional evaluation schema of food banks, which typically focuses on pounds of food delivered per person.- Worked closely with the Development Team to pursue fundraising opportunities (grants, foundation support, etc.) and organize donor events, such as CFB's first "Farm-to-Table" dinner.- Played a key role in organizing and hosting the "Closing the Hunger Gap" conference, with over 200 food banks and food security and/or justice related organizations from across the nation in attendance.- Worked with local partners in a participatory action research that culminated in a report on “La Doce: Barrio Foodways.” The project continues to bear fruit in revitalizing the culturally-rich but historically-neglected corridor of South 12th Ave in Tucson, AZ after a donation by MacKenzie Scott. - Competed in and secured funding via a “fast pitch” style event, resulting in funds to hire a Registered Dietician.
