Industrialization and Feasability analysis for Aluminum Body of Ferrari Sports Cars. Development of fabrication and assembly solutions aiming lean production together with tight geometrical tolerances when requested. The main activities are assembly feasibility analysis, fabrication analysis, costs analysis, assy sequence and reference point system (RPS) development, tolerance analysis. The main materials I work with are aluminum alloy sheets, extruded profiles and castings.

The project was a collaboraton between Ferrari SPA and Modena University. The project conisted of an Analysis of welding feasibility on Ferrari Sports Car Chassis through 3DCS Software. The Software simulates the assembly process and calculates the expected statistical distribution for important measures like weldings gaps, absolute and relative position for important points. Through this analysis it is possible to optimize the assembly sequence, the reference point system and the welding sequence.

Developing and testing of a new silencer for Sports Motorcycle. The project was carried out on CATIA and industrialized for stamping.

I was a research assistant during the experimental campaign that is the topic of my Master Thesis. The project topic is an innovative forming technology called Media Based Press Hardening that can form and simultaneously quench hot UHSS steel hollow profiles through high pressure Nitrogen. My activities were defining the experimental plan through DOE, analyze data through statistical tools like ANOVA and regression, elaborate meaurements to present and compare them.
