With the merge of Digital PR into Hill+Knowlton Strategies, I joined the board and the Italian Management Team to take up a new challenge: leading the path of digital integration within the agency. I worked mainly on strategy, team, creation of digital culture, and above all upselling and integrated new business development. In particular, I directed this change by making sure that all the teams were increasingly autonomous in managing digital projects as well as by acquiring the skills currently required by the market that the agency did not have (e.g. recruitment of Creative Strategy Director in January 2018).As co-responsible for the management and the leadership of the agency, I have also covered other aspects of the business such as overseeing the Tech practice budget, participating in the re-launch of the Healthcare practice and managing general business aspects.

In light of the positive results obtained as Director, I became the CEO of the agency, acquiring the management and responsibility of business (Italy and Spain). Thanks to the continuous link with the international network, I have developed managerial skills that have led me to face the reorganization of the operations in Rome and Madrid and strengthen the Milan office, focusing on digital planning and digital strategy, increasingly integrated into PR and marketing plans of several B2B and B2C clients: companies, brands, products, groups of interests.

In a phase of initial development of the agency in two other locations, Rome and Madrid, I became responsible for the Milan office business (the largest of the three), managing the P&L, the resources, keeping the strategic guidance of several projects for online communication, also of international scope. During these years, thanks to the growing relevance of Digital PR and the social media boom, alongside technical and management skills, in particular I was able to develop expertise in crisis & reputation management, corporate and internal communication.

This experience gave me the opportunity to grow professionally, together with the agency growth. In addition to the management of the accounts team by designing and supervising cleints communication plans, I made a significant contribution to the business development activity for a growing number of companies, in the most varied sectors, more and more interested in the web 2.0, in the emerging social media and in online PR. In particular, I have followed in these years the first corporate blogging and social media projects and guided the first companies in Italy to deal with influencers (then bloggers).

After the deflation of the dot-com bubble, I decided to abandon the entrepreneurial activity and I entered in the startup phase of Digital PR as employee no. 4, where I brought my experience of managing web projects and where I went deeper into the understanding of communications and PR. I had to deal with the marketing and PR plans of several multinational companies, especially in the IT and automotive fields, successfully managing pioneering projects of web reputation, web listening, community relations and influencer marketing at the beginning.

With the intuition that successful online projects could come alive in some specific niches of the market and inspired by the great investments of the time in web companies, I ventured into a new enterprise to develop online startup ideas like motorino.it (still existing ) and bigino.it. In these years, in addition to managing the development of websites for different Italian companies, I learned the fundamentals of business planning, project management and funding.

When I returned to Italy from France, I decided to question my studies in Law and start a business that could match my passion for digital. The main activity was development of websites for some Italian SMEs and industrial groups. I learned "on the job" the basics of graphics, html programming, database management and clients accounting.

At the company's headquarters I dealt with researches on France and Italy commercial laws (also thanks to my familiarity with the Internet and databases) and legal translations for the implementation of large retail surfaces branded Continent. This experience gave me the opportunity to develop an excellent French and to deepen the knowledge of the retail sector.
