About Nicolas Russell

Aspiring coffee connoisseur and current small-batch roaster. HODL’ing since 2015. Blockchain and cryptography novice, but can do a decent job of explaining the Lightning Network, ECC, and Hash functions. Artificial neural networks fascinate me, and I once built one to predict if the price of a stock would go up or down the next day (It was only slightly better than guessing, 60% accuracy, I guess I’ll never be rich). I’ve built a supercomputer out of single board computers (its name was Silvia and had 320 cores / 40 SBC’s). I’ve also coded crypto trading bots (scalpers) in Python that ran on a credit card-sized computer to take advantage of market arbitrage opportunities. My interests span far and wide, but as long as I’m learning something new, I’m loving life.

Listed skills include C++, Matlab, Solidworks, Labview, and 5 others.
