Business development for RTS’ factoring/trade finance solutions in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico & Central America.

Research and prospect foreign-based multi-unit brands around the world, with heavy emphasis on Latin America. Perform full sales presentations either at the prospect’s home office or via webinar. Nurture long-term prospect and partner relationships to keep us top of mind when market is ready for an innovative approach to the measurement and analysis of customer experience insights and close the deal. Attend multiple industry trade shows in key countries for networking and lead generation purposes.

~ Main contact for high profile restaurant and/or retail clients located outside of the U.S., who rely on us to gather useful data, reveal actionable insights and drive profitable change. ~ Coordinate and manage multiple and simultaneous data consulting projects, tapping into resources to make sure projects are executed smoothly~ Build strong intercultural customer relationships by maintaining daily contact with their teams around the world and across time zones to ensure the same message is communicated accurately and efficiently~ Perform multiple program training presentations via webinar or in person~ Involvement in the different phases of sales initiatives to help new customers around the world, primarily Latin America~ Learn about clients’ business structures and strategies, and leverage SMG’s tools to gather information about the customer experience at the clients’ locations and use that data to make business-changing recommendations~ Set and manage client expectations~ Establish a research agenda for clients, coordinate research efforts, seek insights and and create actionable presentation content~ Deliver presentations to client executives in Spanish or English, depending on the client's language of choice~ Monitor project deliverable quality and align internal resources to meet project objectives~ Attend trade shows and clients' convention events

~ Using a consultative approach, identify Client's global needs, understanding their global expansion projects in order to make appropriate and sound implementation recommendations in terms of Global Employee Benefits~ Experience in the marketing, consulting and full implementation of Employee Benefits for Expatriates, Inpatriates, Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), Key [Foreign] Local Nationals (KLNs), and Local Nationals around the world~ Research international HR and Employee Benefit laws and their application for compliance purposes, with primary focus on Life, Accident, Disability, Health, Dental, Vision, and Wellness products.~ Experience working with foreign brokers and/or insurers to research and implement Employee Benefit packages competitive in each specific country and appropriate across client industries~ For Local Placements, main areas of experience include North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, with some work done for clients with operations in Europe, North Africa, Asia and Australia.~ Prepare client recommendations/deliverables, and present them via telephone or in-person~ Industry certifications: GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) CGBM (Certificate in Global Benefits Management); some work towards 8-module CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist).

Consulting and commodity futures brokering role (Series 3 certified). Provide recommendations and hedging strategies to international commercial clients. Place orders directly (open out-cry and/or electronic) with all U.S. agricultural exchanges. Organize hedging seminars and present advanced futures and options topics to Spanish or English Speaking audiences. Perform company presentations in French to visiting international groups. Intensive travel visiting customers and prospective clients located throughout South and Central America. Perform live teleconferences to Latin America customers analyzing a specific commodity market. Created customized statistical studies and marketing plans for customers, including techniques regarding risk quantification and management. International conference exhibit operations and networking.

Oversaw all Human Resources operations and needs in the company’s Des Moines branch location, as well the on-site hiring and training for the out-of-state branches. Carried out new hire orientation, monthly benefit enrollment meetings, quarterly 401(k) enrollment meetings, and all employee termination procedures. Administered and complied with employment laws and practices, including but not limited to COBRA, FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Workers’ Compensation. Represented the company at numerous events. Performed and updated the annual company-wide Diversity & Harassment Prevention training, covering over 1,000 employees.
