I was also required to undertake duties at events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Geneva Motor Show and others. Marketing channels involved Pay Per Click, Social Media promotion and direct mail marketing to a finely tuned audience. From a sales perspective, I was responsible for making sure the team performed and achieved KPIs through conversions and average order values. I implemented key changes to the buying and product selection process which saw an almost instant increase in average spend. This role also involved liaising with freight forwarders on a national and international scale, crane companies, electricians and delivery couriers. It also involved liaising with China-based suppliers to discuss orders, containers and shipping.During my time with DANZ, I oversaw an increase in annual turnover from £1.1m to £1.5m with a rise in net profit of 25%. I left the business due to mis-management followed by staff restructuring, which shortly after I left led to liquidation of the company.
