I am currently a Partner at RIZE Strategic Capital, a capital firm that invests in early-stage startups and established, success-proven businesses, with high-growth potential. Our team of experienced investors and advisors provides strategic guidance and support to our portfolio companies, helping them navigate the challenges of growth.Before my current role, I served as the VP of Marketing at Cloud Cannabis. Cloud is a single-state operator and leading vertically integrated cannabis business in Michigan. Since its founding, Cloud has successfully launched more than eleven retail stores throughout Michigan and has opened a 70,000-square-foot commercial grow and processing facility. In addition, Cloud also operates Mitten Distro, an incubator and manufacturer of high-quality cannabis products, including Wonderbrett, a California-based cultivator of the most sought-after CPG products, and Mitten Extracts, a leading concentrates brand producing premium vapes and edibles in Michigan. Before joining the Cloud team, I was VP of Marketing and Strategy at a cannabis industry startup, Precision Extraction Solutions. As VP of Marketing and Strategy, I lead a team of Marketing and Sales professionals to build the largest and most prestigious extraction equipment and services company in the cannabis industry. Additionally, I assisted with Precision's M&A strategy, which led to investment from multiple publicly traded cannabis companies. Precision was acquired by AGRIFY (Nasdaq:AGFY) on August 2021, at which point I exited the business. Before entering the cannabis industry, I headed up Marketing and Communications at two of the most esteemed brands in the Automotive Aftermarket, ROUSH Performance and American Expedition Vehicles. In both roles, I led all marketing and communication efforts and reported directly to the President and CEO. I oversaw two incredible teams of marketing, branding, communications, product development, social media, content, web, and events professionals.Before joining the automotive industry, I was a partner in two eCommerce and digital marketing agencies — MGM Media and KNS Commerce.
