Also leading development of brand marketing and content strategy for transformational 30-year partnership between Henry Ford Health System and Michigan State University with a commitment to increase access to health care across Michigan, reduce disparity and offer innovative cures and treatment for cancer.

The Capital City Film Festival is an annual celebration of film, music and technology in Lansing, Michigan. Led reorganization of communications team that developed into an award-winning office of creative professionals and a parallel student agency. Also led brand redevelopment campaign and website refresh for one of the world’s leading public universities and the oldest communication college in the nation focused on communication science, health and risk communications, arts, creativity and media. We worked to create effective and engaging campaigns that promoted the world class research, programs, students, faculty and staff of MSU ComArtSci and WKAR, the NPR and PBS stations for the capital region.

Lansing Community College is the third largest community college in Michigan serving a six-county area and over 18,000 students each year. At LCC, I had the opportunity to lead a team of creative professionals, account managers, and web designers to further enhance the LCC brand and meet enrollment goals. I was also responsible for strategic communications, online marketing, social media, and programming on LCCTV and LCC Radio, leading community radio and cable stations.

Launched a public access cable and live streaming station, and the digital media strategy for Lansing Community College. LCCTV The Link provided diverse programming that appealed to students and the overall community and supported the mission of LCC. Directed and executive produced several programs that highlight the arts including a musicmentary series on Michigan bands called "L-Town Studios", "Double Jump," a video game show, a local news and issues show called "Connections", "Lansing Lowdown", a local entertainment news segment that also ran on the Lansing CBS affiliate news station, and dozens of marketing videos promoting the college.The online video strategy was just as important as the cable station, and I was successful in driving traffic and viewership towards LCCTV Comcast channels, LCCTV YouTube and LCCTV social media and online streaming outlets. Social media outlets promoting LCCTV including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube resulted in growth of up to 380% in awareness and online viewership.

As Investigative Producer for WDIV I spent most of my time researching social & criminal issues facing the Detroit/Metro Detroit area. I also focused on regional crime trends, producing weekly promotable reports for viewers.

As Executive producer for News 3 Weekend at 6 pm & 11 pm, I was responsible for all newscast content and staff assignments. I also earned two Emmy nominations for my work on America's Party 2006 and America's Party 2007 a live two-hour broadcast from the Las Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve.

At WPBN-WTOM I spent a year producing and editing the morning show. After a year, I was promoted to produce the 6 p.m. & 11 p.m. evening newscasts. I also worked on several special project series.
