With two gold medals in Bachelors (Environmental Sciences) & magna cum laude in Masters (Environmental Policy and Management), I have substantial experience in the development sector specifically in USAID projects. I have successfully over-seen the environment aspect of the USAID's Satpara Development Project (Skardu based) by AKRSP (Aga Khan Rural Support Program) wherein the major project focus was on strengthening the existing agricultural, livestock and horticulture sector. Cursory areas of implementation included construction of water canals, establishment of orchards, green houses, dairy farms, Artificial Insemination Centres and the like. I have diversified experience of field data collection, report preparation for donors and adherence of environmental compliance. Further, I have worked as an Environmental Consultant for USAID funded Civilian Victims Support Program (CVSP) implemented by International Relief for Development (IRD) which encompassed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas as its project domain. A few of the major project interventions which I had to over-see included provision of in-kind physical, medical and social assistance to civilian victims of conflict related violence. Additionally, I am adept in carrying out in-house as well as external training, preparation of Environmental Manual as well as assisting M & E department for integrating Environmental Monitoring into their existing system. Currently, I am working as the Project Environmentalist for the USAID's Punjab Enabling Environment Project, Lahore, the Implementing Partner being Chemonics International. With major focus on Southern Punjab, I have traveled extensively thereby, adding to the versatility of my work environment.
