My responsibilities included building up a team, initially of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Site Construction teams to perform the works for construction of three new Substations, and extension of an existing substation, in addition to completing the works on two substations, which were not completed by the original contractor, in the Western Operating Area of Saudi Arabia, with an overall value in excess of 100 Million USD.The responsibility included managing and overlooking all four projects, managed by 3 project managers, and complete site teams, including Electrical, Civil and Electro-mechanical teams. My responsibilities also included coordination with vendors for quotes, purchase orders, designs, and clarifications, in addition to interfacing with the client, and working out challenges faced during the implementation of the projects.

Nour OSP was an established Fiber optic Networks contractor, a pioneer in the introduction of new techniques for the construction of Urban and rural Fiber optic Networks.In 2010, the company was awarded a contract for the implementation of approximately 2,000 km of Fiber optic Networks in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.As I had prior knowledge of Nour OSP works, I was appointed as Commercial Manager, working in close coordination with the General Manager, responsible for overseeing compliance with contractual obligations, towards the client, preparing reports, seeking approvals of material submittals, preparing and following up invoices, and documentation of meeting project milestones. My responsibilities also included sourcing material, coordinating for procurement, in addition to finalizing agreements with prospect subcontractors.In addition to the project above, responsibilities included preparation of offers, and responding to bids for related works,, which was crowned by successfully concluding additional projects,, totaling in the range of 40 Million USD.In the course of implementation, I was responsible for the administrative relationship with the stakeholders, including preparation of all documentation and negotiation of claims..

Dimension Data, a gold partner of CISCO and Microsoft, had a project office in Riyadh, responsible for the implementation of the IT infrastructure for a new bank established in Saudi Arabia.Considering the Saudi Market, Dimension Data decided to expand its operation, to be a branch for acquiring new business in the kingdom, in this context, Dimension Data had a position of Commercial Manager, and I was selected for the job, aiming at managing locally commercial issues, in compliance with company policies and targets, and working on teh prequalification with prospect clients.My responsibilities, including the preparation of responses to RFQs,, pricing of bids, and making sure company applicable terms and conditions are covered in offers, and negotiation terms and conditions with clients when possible,, and preparation of compliance matrices win responding to tenders.

In addition, Nour was also in the business of Rental generators, OSP works. I initially Join Nour in the capacity of Senior Telecom Engineer, working with existing client base to propose new solutions, and grow business opportunities.As the business expanded, I took on teh role of Bids & Contracts Manager, responsible for RFX aand Tender documents review, coordinating with parties within the organization, and with partners, to secure comprehensive responses/Bids, for all organization business.During my work in this capcity, We were successful to acquire business in teh magnitude of 80 Million USD.

With a background in Telecommunications, and considering market demand resulting from the expansion of GSM networks, I Joined the establishment to expand the business, an opportunity was available to work with GSM Shelter fabricators to be added in their supply chain, as a supplier of Electro-Mechanical elements, Fire Alarm, and Fire Fighting, HVAC units, and corresponding Control panel, in addition to ACDB and Access Control System.We succeded in this field, and acheived sales in teh range of 800 Thousand USD.

Initially, I joined Siemens AG Saudi Arabia, in the capacity of Switching Engineer, to provide support on a new project for implementation of Siemens Switches in the incumbent landline operator network, Saudi Telecom, to finalize the agreement on the scope and design of the switches. I was later promoted to Sales Manager, Switching, and I was responsible for promoting the Wireline network business in the kingdom, where Simens was successful to secure a contract in the magnitude of 75 Million USD, for the imeplementation "Remote Access Node" solution.I was further promoted to take the role of Sales Manager ICN Carrier, which includes Wireline Swithing, Transmission, and ICT Solutions"

Siemens had an established branch in Jordan, responsible for the implementation of the expansion of the Public Exchanges network.I was responsible for the management of the subcontractors, in addition, I was a member of the team, interfacing with the client for project management, and for resolving any issues that may arise during the implementation.I was able to find solutions to technical issues faced during the testing, through proper coordination with the designers and feature responsible persons in Siemens Head office in Munich, Germany, as a result of satisfaction by teh management of my work, I was assigned as Switching Team leader.
