o Review and analyse credit proposals and structure lines as per bank policies.o Leading a team of 5 Credit Analyst at Dubai branch with a portfolio size of USD 218M and ensuring timely and accurate credit reports.o Monitoring of the Dubai portfolio to maintain asset quality. Review the accounts periodically to devise the account strategy, track early warning symptoms, formulate exit strategies.o Participate in special projects resulting in credit process enhancements- this included launch of Rating Model, credit application roll out, risk acceptance criteria etc.o Liaise with legal department, internal/ external auditors, other stakeholders on various credit related issues.

o Worked with SBI’s second largest branch (in India) with asset value of USD 3 billion under Mid Corporate vertical.o Managed relationship for a portfolio of top 20 clients of the branch with asset value of USD 185M. The turnover of these clients ranged from USD 60M to USD 1.2B & credit limits of USD 10M to USD 120M, spread across different industries like fertiliser, construction ( road – EPC & PPP), consumer durables, FMCG products- rice & milk manufacturers etc. o Lead a team of 3 analysts and service officer under the leadership of Assistant General Manager.o Scope:  Presentation of analytical credit reports to the Management Committees. Ensure coverage of the entire value chain of the client through channel financing (vendor/ distributor financing), cash management, other cross sell opportunities. Review of Bank Loan Ratings on internal Rating models of SBI and making recommendations to internal committees. Conducted and attended consortium meetings with the stakeholders.  Addressing to Auditors and rectified irregularities pointed out during audits- statutory audits at quarterly intervals, annual inspections, concurrent audits and RBI ( regulatory body) audits.o Achievement: Apart from increase in business, was instrumental in retention and financing of a ceramic tile player through vendor financing resulting in increased asset value of USD 7.7M and on boarding of SBI Capital for an IPO proceedings in one client.

o Scope : Undertook planned/ adhoc steel sector research publications. Handled Steel Portfolio for the Rating Agency for Northern India. Assessed and reviewed Issuer Bank Loan Ratings and made recommendations to the Committee members. Prepared analytical reports basing on the assessment & Fitch frameworks for various industries. Ensured publishing of the Rating view and Rating rationale duly listing the drivers motivating the decision and the sensitivities affecting the view. Conducted meeting with the issuers and Lenders in timely manner for assessing the performance of the Issuer and review of the assigned Ratings. Handled bank loan ratings for various industries during my tenor e.g. Steel, gems and jewellery, FMCG, construction. Addressed Media queries on Agency’s view on the events in the steel industry.o Achievement: Identified amongst pool of analysts to write & publish agency’s annual outlook for Steel sector.

o Worked at various geographies – Lucknow, Hyderabad (Corporate Office), Gurgaon, New Delhi.o Scope : Handled credit appraisal at branch and controlling/ Head office levels during the 5 year assignment. Assumed business and credit roles basing on place of posting whether branch or Corporate office. Worked as Senior Manager Credit for Corporate Credit Branch in New Delhi with turnover of USD 750M (deposits of USD 360M and advances of USD 390M). Corporate credit was approx. USD 250M and Gross NPA out of the total advances was at USD 2M.  Handled credit appraisal, disbursement, documentation, monitoring during my posting at New Delhi as Senior Manager Credit and lead a team of 6 people at branch in credit assessment, monitoring & forex department. Also handled branch operations including – CASA management, trade finance, retail lending during my posting at Lucknow and Gurgaon. Handled Corporate financing, project financing which included infrastructure projects. E.g.Rapid Metro Rail (first PPP model for metro rail), Delhi Airport Metro rail, construction of national highways under PPP (BOT, BOFT, BDOFT) and EPC model.o Achievement: Was promoted to Manager level within 2 yrs of joining after written and interview process as per Public Sector norms. Shouldered responsibilities of AGM (branch head) during my posting at New Delhi.
