This is a lifestyle podcast I created to increase financial and health literacy in teens and young adults. I manage the social media accounts and the episodes. In the process of beginning this new venture, I have learned a lot about marketing and management. I am actively trying to increase engagement with my content, and I spend time after each episode and post analyzing the data and feedback from the various platforms I work with. All of the content I create is original. I research, write, host, and edit each episode, and my sister creates all of the art found on our instagram, as well as the podcast's logo.

At Empowerly I aided in the answering of research requests made by students that utilize their services. Part of this work involved doing my own research, but also continuing to add to the large base of information we already had.

Working at WIDEangle has been transformative for my learning experience. I have had the ability to give numerous presentations on niche industries, and I have been taught the skills to write investor reports to follow. This internship has also taught me management skills. I have the opportunity to help on-board and co-lead the new team of interns, and shape this internship experience for future candidates. Most importantly, I value the relationships I have built at this company.

Juix is a Bay Area based start-up that creates rentable portable chargers. In my current position, I focus primarily on organic social media management. I create graphics and use a variety of tools to increase traffic to the website and engagement with the posts. I am also working on search engine optimization with regard to Google.

I had the opportunity to go through one-on-one professional development and networking sessions with financial analysts at Stryker. We also had various other training sessions that gave me insight on the applications of finance at Stryker in the medical devices industry in general.

Sagepointe was the turning point in my academic career. I realized that my passions were in the area of Finance, rather than the broader applications of economics. I was able to apply my prior knowledge of Statistics, and new knowledge of portfolio metrics and benchmarks in a variety of ways. One of the most important projects I worked on was the analysis of my own portfolio in the lense of these metrics. I learned the technical knowledge of the formulas and calculations behind the programs used in the industry.

I have always prioritized having diverse experiences, and this translates to my career as well. During my summer as a camp counselor, I learned a variety of transferrable skills. I was a liason and primary point of contact between parents and the organization. I learned many valuable customer service skills through these experiences. Working in a field of such high liability taught me to truly take charge in my role, and follow my instincts with every decision I made.
