Grecale BEV and Stella Large BEV programs - Battery Electric Vehicle Calibration Team Leader.Modena area BEV calibration development and team activity planning and coordination. Focus area: electric vehicle calibration development (propulsion strategy and inverters interface management), charging (AC and DC charging strategy and module interface management), HMI (electric propulsion system related human interface management), thermal (propulsion strategy to assure safe battery and power electric modules management). My main goal was to keep developing the Grecale BEV project while ramping up many more BEV calibrators. The approach was to leverage on Grecale project (training on the job) to create theknow how to support upcoming STLA Large 800V projects (Stelvio, Giulia,Levante BEV). With the help of the team created I managed thelaunch of Grecale BEV and all the market variants, starting developing thederivative application with wheel drive disconnect capability, managing STLA Largeprojects starting phase (leveraging HIL and Test Bench validation) andsupporting MCA preliminary evaluations.

Initial main goal was to create a local team in Modena reconverting calibratorspreviously engaged in old technologies (combustion engines), recoveringtools/instrumentation to kick off the work and create a complete synergy with theNorth America D&E Calibration team (by porting standardized procedure, directlysponsoring know how increase, trainings and following the ramp up of each teammember with a specific focus on lesson learned and best practice). During the teamramp up I had to learn and work directly on technical topics (being a calibrator anda team responsible at the same time to cover for the low number of calibratorsavailable). Managing while calibrating was an incredible boost to build my electricvehicle knowledge. This particular situation required a continuous full immersion on the calibration recovery involving both the Modena and the North America team (working together in synergy).
