After numerous people have pointed out that there is value in my ability to comprehend and convey what is needed for change, I've decided to start a new project. With my extensive knowledge and communicative abilities, in regards to client orientated thinking, especially in a poverty and welfare setting. Project- and procesmanagement, change management and communication (Social Media, livestreaming, etc.) Actively translating from micro to macro and vice versa, never losing the perspective of the involved parties. Creating an environment where people who do not speak the same language get to understand each other.

Over the past years I have been talking with an incredible amount of people in regards to supporting children, young adults (ages 0 - 21) and their families. In my work I help people make sense off all the programs and initiatives that the municipality of Emmen, the province of Drenthe and our country provides. In return I help the city of Emmen understand the wants and needs in regards to their programs. How do people know if they are eligible and where do they need to go or who to talk to, if they want to apply? As part of my role, my network extends outwards from organisations directly connected to the municipality of Emmen. From the social teams in the neighbourhoods, the city and all it's departments. To schools, houses of worship and youth organisations. Sharing the possibilities about the programs and initiatives by where ever possible connecting to existing organisations and their events wherever the target audience may be.Every where I will take the time to explain the possibilities, to make people see the chances they can not see. My experience as someone who has had to use the systems, is invaluable and it's one of the ways I get to connect to those that do not want to share or feel that they have failed. Translation of policies to people and the needs of the people back to those making the policies is my greatest joy and strength. To me, the most important thing you can do is talk with people and stop talking about people! Only than will you be able to listen and understand.

The department of Sport & Culture houses many disciplines. The organisation I currently work for, focuses on healthy lifestyle promotion especially with children and young adults (ages 0-19). Jongeren Op Gezond Gewicht (JOGG) runs healthy lifestyle lessons in PE classes at schools in and around Emmen. Their goal is to increase healthy lifestyle awareness and promote (current and next) generations to choose a healthier lifestyle. The JOGG project has expanded at a rapid rate and that is where I come in. At this moment I'm assisting in reviewing and creating a plan to help the JOGG project expand even more.

From my academic background to my passions in the digital world. I've been approached and asked advice on many subjects. Most questions relate to my experience in (I)FM and my broad spectrum of common knowledge. People I talk to seem to want to know my points of view because I'm not afraid to speak my mind. Some of the organizations that I've worked with/for are Empire Realty Group, Dorenbos Verhuizingen and several Online gaming communities etc. In most cases I've provided input in communications, insight in process / project management and conflict management.
