At BoP Innovation Center, I made sure that BoPInc's expertise on BoP marketing and distribution and Inclusive Innovation was implemented in several projects and public-private partnerships working on food security and inclusive agribusiness, such as 2SCALE, Amsterdam Initiative Against Malnutrition, SMASH and others. Providing expertise on the above topics through advise and training, and coordinating the involvement of other BoPInc staff members on projects.

Out of BoP Innovation Center, and as part of the Inclusive Business Accelerator program, I was responsible for involving impact investors on our online platform IBA.ventures, and to ensure that matchmaking took place between them and the inclusive business ventures that are registered on the platform and that are looking for investment to scale their operations and their impact.

As part of the Professional Traineeship Program I performed several assignments in the Business Solutions division at the national headquarters of ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, especially focused on change management. Furthermore, I followed several courses on personal development/effectiveness, project management, conducting workshops, etc.

Intern at the department for macro-economic policy. The main aspect of work of this department is the drafting of the yearly Trade and Development Report.The theme of the report in 2007 was regional trade agreements and their effect on world trade. My main tasks involved doing research, mainly regarding regional trade agreements for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
